Applying for a new job is a two-way process. We want to attract people who will fit in with our culture and enjoy working with us, so it's really important that RM is right for you. Please see 'our culture and values' in the 'what we offer' section. You can also find the key competencies we look for in our employees (sometimes referred to as 'behaviours'), in the section, 'what we're looking for'.
Following your application, we will select candidates for initial interview. This will either be face-to-face or by telephone. If successful, you'll be invited to attend an onsite assessment which will usually consist of an in-depth interview including an assessment exercise, such as a role play or problem to solve. Prior to this we will ask you to complete some aptitude or ability tests online from home. We've included some handy hints and tips later on in this section to help you.
Usually we will make a decision at this stage, although we occasionally invite people back for a final interview. If you're successful, well done and welcome to the team! Whether you are successful or not, we will ask you for feedback so that we can identify any areas that we need to improve on. We will also offer you the opportunity to obtain feedback on your part in the process.
At RM, one of our core values is ‘Respect for others’ and as such we always apply objective criteria to assess potential suitability for jobs and career opportunities.
